        Hello everyone- I’m new here.

While I’ve done my research, I still can’t figure out what was going on tonight.

I was feeding my bunny a couple blueberries, and she started her bunny dance, which I know means she is happy. But then, THUMP! *binky a couple times* THUMP!

I know that thumping can mean it’s a warning, or that she is frustrated, or scared. But how can any of those be possible while she is binkying happily? Could it mean that she just wants to get my attention?

        Thanks in advance.

Some buns thump from happy excitement =) Especially young buns.

You have to interpret thumping in context. A thump can mean all those things you mention, a warning, frustration, defiance, that she’s scared, that she wants your attention, or as in this case, that she’s really happy.

Gina thumps when she runs her laps round the living room, and she’s happy when she does that, so I would agree with bam, in context she sounds like its a happy thump. Maybe a bunny equivalent of whooping for joy?
