  Hello! I recently got my first bunny. I have done tons of research, but the one thing I can’t figure out is his breed! He is the black bunny in the picture. If anyone could please help me, I would appreciate it very much.

  How much does he weigh? Could we please see some more pics?
  
  From what I can see in the picture, his fur looks short and plush to me. So possible a rex or mini rex (depending on his size)? Super cute though!

  I agree with Moxie, he does look like a Mini Rex- his fur looks very velvety. Very cute!!

  Thank you so much! I don’t bring him home until Monday, so I can’t weigh him yet, but my guess is he’s about 3 pounds, I also know he is around two months old

  Ah if hes 3lbs already, he likely is a normal Rex instead of a Mini Rex

  My first thought was Rex as well. He has the shape and his fur looks pretty dense and plushy.

  If he’s already 3 pounds he’s definitely not a mini, most likely just a rex. Congrats, he’s a cutie.

  Thank you so much !! I’m weighing him Monday, when I have him, but just so I know, about how many pounds would a few months old mini be? The person who went with me held him as well, and said he was probably 1-2 pounds ! So either they’re under estimating, or I’m over estimating ! Flynn(the name I’ve decided on!) appears pretty small, and I was told he wouldn’t grow much more, but I’m not too sure about that, since they told me he’s so young.

  I think a mini would be about a pound or two at that age. Our mini rex didnt hit the full grown till he was about 7 months old (about 4lbs). Hes at the perfect height, weight, and length our vet says. Hes a little pudgey, but has a lot of muscle

  Flynn is finally home I weighed him, and he is 2.5 pounds ! I also believe he’s probably like 2 1/2 or 3 months old
