So my mom finally said yes to letting me foster frosty who was about to be on to his 3rd rescue. Oh man so much to do I have to find a cage and stuff. Plus im broke so any emergency cage suggestions would be great.

Storage square grids (also called Nic Cubes) make good cages when tied together with zip ties. You can create whatever size and shape you want. In Ohio, you can get a set of 24(?)grids for less than $20. We stack ours two high so bunnies don’t escape. They also are great for bunny proofing.

Yay for fostering! Good on you. We would be lousy fosters because we could never give the bunny up lol.

I like Xpens. They are great to move around. If you decide to purchase one, get a hardy wire one, not a plastic. I’ve had my Xpens for five plus years, and they still look and are great!! However, they have the downside of the bunny being able to jump out if they are tall enough, so Nic cubes are great like BrunosMama said if the bun is large and can jump.

I’ve never tried fostering, but I would like to, and am inspired every day! Good for you!
