I was thinking of getting that “clicking with your rabbit’ book from the bb store, cause i figure it may give me and Lily something cool to do together.  Has anyone else tried it?  Any thoughts?

Hi there! I haven’t used that book, but I have tried clicker training with my Olaf and can say that it really is a great way to bond with your bun. It is really fun to see them learn and using their brains to figure out what this new, weird game is. :] I watched a lot of clicker training videos on Youtube starting with basic things like up, spin, and paw/high five. All rabbits are different when it comes to how quickly they learn but Olaf and I really enjoy that time together. I also felt that a true “clicker” isn’t also absolutely necessary. Olaf found the sound of a real clicker too scary and I felt using a clicker-pen was too clumsy for me, but try what works best for you. I ended up just making a clicking sound myself and now he associates that sound with playtime. Their favorite treat (in small bits) and a lot of patience go a long way, too. Good luck!

Thanks, pinknfwuffy. I decided to get a clicker (the store says they’re new and have a softer click, so we’ll give it a try) but the internet is much cheaper than books, lol. I’ll go with that.
