  This is hard to think about, let alone type and re-read. I keep reliving it in my head, it’s so awful. My rabbit, Dust, recently had a litter of 8 kits. They’re were all healthy and being taken care of, they’re around 2-3 weeks old and they had started getting big and fluffy. This morning I was cleaning out Dust’s cage, and I hear a sound that still makes me sick to my stomach. I accidentally stepped on one of the babies, it squirmed and… It died shortly after. Oh god, I feel so horrible, I feel like a monster. I can’t fight back the tears or stop thinking about it. I hadn’t even named it yet (unsure of gender). Oh lord why…

  i know how u feel i recently lost my sweet four month old rabbit to death from choking i kept thinking its my fault and i am still crying writing this i know how u feel teddy was my world
