Dear bunny lovers,

I am so devastated to announce that teddy has died my sweet little boy. He died from choking. Heaven has received one more angel. He was a sweet baby boy and loved life. I miss him so much,

But to get down to business i have one more sweet little boy toby that i am so grateful for but i am very worried about him because ive heard that when bonded males lose the one they are bonded to that they go into depression toby and teddy did everything together they even groomed each other i am very worried about him and miss  my baby.

I’m very sorry about the loss of your sweet Teddy. Spend as much time as possible with Toby, which will be good for both of you, and help you to cope with the loss. Make sure that Toby is still eating well. If he has any favorite veggies, keep those on hand for him. He may want a blanket or stuffed animal to cuddle up with – make sure that he isn’t chewing on them, though. After a little time has passed, you can consider getting a companion for Toby. There are a lot of rabbits in shelters and rescues in need of a home.

Thank you so much tobyluv I am trying to spend as much time with toby as possible I know now that once u lose someone u realize how important they are to u and I did some research on choking to death abd pellets was top cause I know am going to be extremely cautious with toby thanks for ur advice

I am so sorry to hear the news, I remember you messaged me and Olly, as soon as we saw ‘Teddy’ in the topic here, we had to stop and reply, we are so very sorry for your loss, we hope Toby is doing well and eating his hay and greens, a very very sad loss, but I’m sure he will be telling the big man in the sky that you cared for him and loved him so much, I will light a candle for him and all the other bunnies who have passed away or are ill, it is also for the bunny parents, please give Toby a cuddle from myself and Olly.

How is Toby doing? You are right, rabbits and lots of other animals can die after a friend passes. He will need lots of attention.
