This is Olly, Mummy let me play in my pen, I think I was tired, Mummy was writing a letter to her friend, she turned round to see me, eyes wide open, laying on my side, stretched out,Mummy called my name a few times, silly Mummy thought I was dead and put a finger through the bars and touched me, I got up and gave her a kiss through the bars, Mummy if you see this, I was asleep, do not disturb me, I don’t disturb your sleep, so why disturb mine?

I can so relate, I always want to poke my buns when they’re flopped out in a “dead bunny flop”. I never get used to it!

Haha yes! It scared me so much when Cinny used to do it, because I’d never had a bun before! I’m not so scared when Chomondeley does it, it just warms my heart when he flops near my feet. But yes, sometimes I get frightened….

lol The first time Chewie did that, I had no clue that bunnies flop – I just found him stretched out in a corner, eyes half-closed, under the potted pine. I burst into tears – I mean, seriously blubbing. I didn’t even think to poke him. And I guess my sobs woke him up, because he suddenly jumped to all four, startled and tousled-looking, and a split second later hopped up into the pot and hid under the drooping lower branches. All I could see was a twitching nose turned toward me, probably trying to figure out why he got a lunatic for a mommy.
