Hi I have a new bunny after my beloved 6 year old rabbit was killed by a fox ( new hutch was a bad idea only wanted to make him comfy)
        Anyway before I cry.
My new baby rabbit was fine the first night running round cuddles then the second day didn’t want to do anything hasn’t eaten much pretty much nothing and just lays around and he is quite wet from toilets wee and poo seems like he just sits there and does his business and doesn’t move he stinks I took him to the vets who said they can’t really feel anything in his belly so don’t think he’s eating she have me 4 different meds and some strange dry food that has to be mixed with water I’ve managed to give him some of that but not sure how much I should be giving him the vet said too syringe it in him but he was happy to lap it from my finger I also got him some hay but he’s not interested in it at all he is sleeping in the run of hutch not sure why he had saw dust should I remove this so I can keep an eye on his toilets he has a bed too

How much does your bunny weigh? We can likely help you figure out how much to give. I’m assuming the dry food is oxbow critical care?
If he’s happy eating if from your finger, let him have as much as he’ll take. It’s a complete food with lots of fibre, which is just what he needs.

Sawdust isn’t really ideal for litter or bedding-depending on the type of wood. They are particularly sensitive to hardwoods and can cause liver enzyme issues and breathing issues.

Could you use newspaper for now, while you monitor his pooping and peeing? The best types of litter are yesterdays news (pellets), wood stove pellets and other paper products like care fresh.

Sorry to hear that he’s not doing well, I’m sure the vets will do all they can for him. Likely regularly syringe feed food and water as well as subcutaneous fluids, possibly pain killers depending on what’s going on and maybe some gut motility medication (though he’s probably just not pooping simply because he hasn’t eaten anything).

Wishing him all the best. Let us know how it goes.
