My newest baby ginger needs her incisors removed, my vet wont give me an estimate price, were sticking to our budget to live and we need to know an estimate on how much itll cost to get them removed. Removal unfortunately is her last option. it breaks my heart that she has too go through this but i would love to get her out of pain as soon as possible.
has anyone has this done? if so  about how much did it cost? and did your bunny need medication afterwords? if so do you have pricing?

im a caring bunny mother with 2 rescue bunnies, im trying my best to spoil them and make sure that have the best home and care.

Why won’t your vet give you an estimate? Are there any other rabbit savvy vets you can ask?

I agree, your vet should give you an estimate. Obviously an estimate is not necessarily a set price, it may help to explain to your vet that you understand it may vary from the estimate depending on what happens during surgery, but there is no way I would go into surgery without at least an estimate, otherwise you’ve got no idea what to expect. Even other people who have had the same work done, their prices could be very different because many vets charge very different prices.

If you know what needs to be done, I would also suggest ringing around to other rabbit savvy vets and asking what they would charge for the surgery, perhaps explaining that your vet won’t give you an estimate. It seems shady to me.
