Hey I need some help when I went to the vet with my bunny for a check up the vet told me to use laxatone once every month at a dime size to prevent hair ball problem but here’s where the problem is I had the laxatone up on a counter and it fell so when I went in there to feed my bunny I smelled something wasn’t sure what it was to find the laxatone tube on the floor chewed up there is like half left but will the amount he ate harm him and will that plastic harm him?

Given the amount that your bunny may have eaten, including the plastic. I would advise ringing your vet to let them know. I don’t know if it’s harmful in large doses but it’s better to be safe then sorry. Ring your vet, and keep a close eye on your rabbit to ensure they’re eating and pooping well.

I’ve never heard of giving a rabbit that to prevent “hairballs”. Hay should be all your bunny needs unless there is some kind of gut motility issue.
