Okay, so my bunny really loves oxbow vitamins.
        So far i have:
        1. Oxbow papaya tab
        2. Oxbow vitamin C
        3. Oxbow skin & coat
I’m planning to get urinary support as well.

My question is. Is it okay for me to give more than one vitamins everyday?
Usually i give one tab of papaya tab in the morning and one tab of vitamin C or skin &coat vitamin. So in total usually 2 tabs daily.

My vet advised me not to because vitamins can damage bunny’s liver do one tab per day is enough. Whereas when I ask other bunny mom some gave even 3 tabs of different varieties daily (for them it’s like snacks/treats)

        What do you guys think?
Thanks before hand for any help given.

I would listen to the vet. You could also try e-mailing Oxbow through there website or FB page. They are usually good at replying.

I agree with LPT. Vitamins can be toxic in too big amounts, esp vitamin A. The only thing I want to add is that the papaya fruit plus doesn’t have vitamins, just enzymes that helps digestion. So that won’t add any extra vitamins.
E-mailing Oxbow is a great idea imo. They can tell you how their supplements should be used ideally.

Rabbits don’t actually need added Vitamin C as they produce it in their bodies so you don’t really need to be giving that one That’s more for guinea pigs who do require added Vitamin C in their diet.

The papaya tablets aren’t really vitamins as that’s more about providing enzymes for digestive health. So you should have no problem giving a papaya tablet with a skin and coat tablet. Though in my personal opinion rabbits don’t really NEED daily vitamins if they have a healthy diet anyway. I think it’s nice to supplement once in a while, a couple times a week perhaps.

thank you everyone for the tips
I just ask oxbow for their opinion this is their reply :
“Hi Ignatieva, thank you for your question! We always recommend working closely with your vet when it comes to supplements of any kind. Although it is usually okay to give the amount you described, if your vet thinks otherwise you should always listen! Perhaps cut down to giving certain tabs one day and the other the next day. That way you can alternate every other day and your bun is not overwhelmed! Of course, please discuss with your vet before doing this to assure it would still be okay. You could also try cutting the tabs in half and giving half one day and the other half the next! We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!”

They say it’s okay to give the amount I have described. My bunny really loves his vitamins time so I will try to stick to my routine first and let you all know if some problem occurs. I just want my bun to be healthy by giving him healthier treats like vitamins <3
