So, two days ago my precious lovable bunny, Socks, passed away.
She hurt her leg and bruised it some so we brought her to the vet the next day and he said to put polysporin on her bruise to help heal it and prevent infection. It was doing good then suddenly went downhill. She must have been biting at badly or something. So my mom brought her to the vet, I was at school, this is a week after the previous visit, and the vet said it was worse than we thought. He said there was hardly anything to do but euthanize her, except amputate it but then it could still get infected. They ended up euthainzing her. She died in no pain though because she was already knocked out from the vet checking her leg.
The worst part about this is that I couldn’t be there with Socks. I was at school and didn’t know till the end of the day. She did live a happy life though, with all her cuddles, quirks, binkies, treats, and playtime. I will always love her, and never forget her.

I’m sorry about the loss of Socks. Don’t agonize about not being there with her at the vet. You were there with her throughout her life. She knew that you loved her.
