Does anyone else have a bunny that thumps when it’s about to do something naughty? I find it both hilarious, and adorable, that when Happy deciders to do something she knows I don’t want her to do, (like dig her way under the couch, or hop over the arm of the couch and leave her designated bun space) she will always first give one quick thump. It comes in very handy, because I always know if she’s about to do something I don’t want her to. She has actually been doing less of this lately, and I like to think it’s because she is just feeling more and more comfortable in her space. She has her favorite place to hide now, which is under a chair, and her favorite place to lounge in the open watching everyone. Now she only really tries to leave if no one else is in the living room, and I have to leave her alone in there for some reason, like changing the laundry, or some other annoying human habit. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this with their buns. Poor Happy can’t get away with any of her escape plans, since she cannot help but alert us first. Silly little rabbit!

Too nice to even think something bad.
Her own feet are giving het away.

As for mine… well he just becomes awfully quite.

My bunny does that a lot! When we hear a distant thump we check the kitchen and see him scurrying back cause he knows he’s not supposed to be there. He’ll even come out to the kitchen while we’re there and thump under the table. I think he’s doing it to get our attention.
He also enjoys being under the office chair as well, where it’s dark and sits at the corner of the room so he has full view. Our bunnies sound so similar! LOL

Mine usually thumps before jumping up on my bed. It’s like telling me to make way for her

Bunnies are hilarious. You think of them as being all cute and cuddly, but then you find out they are really mischevious, and kind of bratty, but in the most adorable way possible.
