Hi all this is new to me, Yesterday i woke up to a gravely ill Bunny My 8year old girl Princess, (Lionhead) had become seriously ill in the night, She was slumped on her side with my other Rabbit Star (Princess,s Daughter) by her side giving her nudges, We rushed her immediatly to our nearest vets, And they confirmed she was very seriously ill, She had developed Tilt head from a suspected Stroke ?, She had a very low tempature, even though we kept her indoors over the cold period, We disscused her options & both came to the dreaded decision that we wouldnt let her continue suffering, As any form of meds may not have worked anyway because of how ill she was, I feel a huge guilt at letting her go, But also felt i did what i had to, as i didnt want her to suffer, she looked so scared & awfully poorly 🙁 – She was just over 8years old we took her on from a lady who rescues bunnies when she was roughly 3years old with her Daughter (Star) She has brought me years of love & i hope she kknows how much i loved her, My heart aches for her loss right now – Im trying my hardest to comfort my other bunny as its such a big loss for her too 🙁

I’m very sorry about the loss of your sweet Princess. That is always a hard decision to make, but it is made out of love, to keep bunnies from suffering. I’m sure she knew how much you loved her. Be with Rabbit Star as much as possible, it will be comforting to both of you.

I am so, so sorry that you lost Princess. I hope that you and Star will be all right. I’m sending good vibes and lots of hugs to you. It is never easy to make that decision, but sometimes it is the right thing to do, because we never want to see our companions suffer.

              (((((Binky free, Princess))))
