If a bunny can play with a ball which is the safest? Olly loves to move boxes in his pen, so I thought maybe he would like a ball to throw about, something different, are balls dangerous? Can a bunny hurt his leg easily?

The balls I have used for my bunnies were either made of willow or straw. I think a regular football would be too big and you wouldn’t want your bunny to chew on it. I don’t know if other balls, such as tennis balls would be safe either, due to the chewing factor.

Bam has a treat-ball that he likes to chase. I think it’s good for him. It’s exercise plus he gets to use his brain when the ball gets stuck or it gets into a dead end. I give him his pellets in it.
Willow balls are of course great too.

Willow, straw, etc…… or very hard plastic (like a treat ball). I would be worried about “human” toys since they tend to be made of things you wouldn’t want bunny to ingest if chewed.

Thank you all, I’ll see what I can do, at the moment Olly is enjoying his cardboard boxes in his pen, at the end of playtime he even puts his boxes and toys in the big box, he cleans up for Mummy

Hi this is Olly, my Mummy got me a hard plastic blue ball, it has a ball inside with a bell, she bought it for me for good behaviour, I can carry it about, throw it and rub my chin on it, I ran round with it in my mouth, then stopped, went to Mummy and gave my Mummy a thank you kiss, then went back for a playtime.
