Is it alright to give your rabbit bottled water? I normally give him tap water but our water seems to be abit discoloured today so didn’t want to chance anything. We had some bottled water so I ended up giving him that instead, is this okay?

I would think a small amount of clean bottled water is safer than discoloured tap water. I always keep a few bottles of water in, in case we end up with no tap water, and would give it if needed.

Bottled water is absolutely better than discolored tap water. Some types of mineral water contain relatively high levels of sodium, but that’s only a problem if you consume large amounts for prolonged periods of time.

Really clever to keep bottled water at home for this reason! Hadn’t thought of that!

Most brands of bottled water are just filtered tap water.

Bottled water is fine, I buy it for Olly because the water here is ewww, if I run out of bottled water and give him tap water he throws his bowl, I buy the cheapest bottles for us which are 17p about 24 cents and he enjoys it and I put it in my kettle for a cup of tea, I buy so many at a time I have to get a taxi home.

Definitely better than discoloured water! It’ll be filters and clean with no muck so definitely the safer option
