Hervey is a flemish giant who recently stopped pooping, eating drinking, after 12 hours I took him straight to the vet to get him checked out.  I have to give him injections mateclopramide sub cut (10mg) 3 times a day.
He is nibbling but I am worried about his hydration.  So I bought a V8 juice and am hoping i can give it to him with a needleless syringe.  But on the bottle it says it contains 16% sweet potato.
        here are the ingredients

        Apple 37%, sweet potato 16, pineapple 15.5%, carrot 14.5%, orange 10.5%, banana 4%, mango 1.5%, passionfruit <1%

Is this ok to give to him?

I think you can give it to him, sweet potato has quite a lot of carbs but it’s not toxic to bunnies and it can be given as a treat, just like the fruit that are in the juice. Since this is just a temporary measure and not sth you’ll feed him every day, I think it’s fine, esp if he’s not eating as much as he normally does.

Sometimes a bun will drink more if you put some apple-juice in the water (although some buns won’t even go near water that has sth added to it, so you must always check so the bun actually drinks.)
