I think this is the kind of question you only want to ask the vet. They really know their stuff, so if you feel like it’s too much I would discuss with the vet. They can make mistakes, but I would never alter your prescribed treatment based off what people on the internet think!
So my strong recommendation is to call your vet -and in future discuss right there with them
