Honestly with pellets if its cheaper than an average price there is something bad in it.

Here’s a list of of many types of bunny food with their nutritional contents, it doesn’t say prices but you can perhaps find a few alternatives to Oxbow and then check the prices on those. The articles have a few tips on what to look for in a good bunny food :

When you choose a pellet, make sure it’s plain pellets you’re getting, some brands have dried fruit and seeds and stuff mixed in, and that’s like candy for a bunny. The bunny will eat the yummy parts and ignore the healthy pellets. That can lead to the bunny getting fat and to poopy butt.

There are usually instructions on the back of the bag for introducing the new pellets, mixing ratios and times.

Do the transition slowly, bunnies don’t tolerate swift changes to their diets very well. Mix in some new with the old and gradually increase the amount of new over a couple of weeks. And keep an eye so the new pellets get eaten, some buns that have been fed a yummy but unhealthy diet (“junk food”) won’t touch the new healthy pellets for quite some time. And a bunny that gets food it doesn’t like won’t necessarily eat it when it gets hungry enough, like a dog would. It might stop eating altogether, and that’s is of course very dangerous for a bun.
