        Hi everybody!

So I have two bunnies I have binding then twice now. The first time we took them on a trip a few weeks after they were bonded not know it could cause a lot of stress and lead them to fight.  This second time things were perfectly fine and they just began fighting for no apparent reason at all. We’re are very confused now as to if they can actually be bonded. They were both from the humane society and one was a abuse case but is very sweet and loving the other one is very sweet and loving too. They both are spayed and pretty laid back bunnies. Not sure what to do from this point any help or ideas would be amazing. Thanks

          Hi and Welcome to BB!

Are your bunnies living together full time now? If yes, how long has it been? What are their living arrangements, are they free roam or caged?

They are no longer living together due to their last fight. They are caged at night but let out in the morning (now in separate rooms). Not sure why the fighting keep happening.  Someone I know the other day told me that it can happen when they are in their teenage years. Could this be a factor?

I think you should take a time-out for a week or two, since buns can hold a grudge. And after that, stress-bonding is probably your best bet. The idea behind stress-bonding is that you put the buns in a scary situation so they turn to each other for comfort. The scary situation can be a car-ride or having to sit in a basket on top of a running washing-machine, or you can put the buns in a box or basket and carry them around and shake the basket some. But be two people and wear gloves. When buns get angry, they can bite really hard and if you get in the way, they might bite you.
