Hi everybody! My little Bumbleberry has to live in the garage. She has a fairly small cage with her litterbox and stuff, but it is attached to an excersise pen that she can hang out in most of the day. She can come in to the front hall for play time sometimes. The garage is attached, heated and has plenty of windows. I was just wondering if this is okay

Air conditioning in summer is more important than heat in the winter. Make sure you spend time with her.

Are there cars in the garage? If cars are started in the garage there is a danger of carbon monoxide fumes.

There is one car in there that is almost never used. We don’t start it very often like once a year. Is that okay?

As long as bunny can’t get near it or anything that might leak onto the floor (anti-freeze, oil, etc.). If you start the car, I would move your bunny somewhere else prior to doing so. They can be sensitive to the fumes.

You’re asking if it’s OK-is there any possibility she could live in the house? She would be much happier. Garages are usually full of chemicals and that’s not good for bunnies; in addition they like to be around the family.

No, I keep asking my perents to let her live in the house and they say no. We do have a pretty small house. I can let her into the front hall if my dad is working on loud projects though- but she has to be supervise
