        Hey gang.

While he is pooping, peeing, and being active as usual. At least once a day for the past three days Fox has gone to the potty and had three or four of his poops connected by a fiber.  He seems ok aside from that. I’ve decided to up his grooming to once a day while he is molting.

Should I be worried? or is everything ok? Poops, outside of connection issues seem proper.

        Thanks

Most rabbits have strung together poops at times. It’s fur that is connecting the poops and can be more common during molting. Make sure that he is eating plenty of hay, and the extra grooming from you will be good too. As long as he is eating and pooping normally and being active, it sounds like he is fine.

This is normal as long as it doesn’t happen for a long time. As mentioned before, offer your bunny plenty of hay, water and be sure to brush your rabbit everyday especially during shedding season. In the rabbit world, people often call this the string of pearls. It often happens when a rabbit swallows too much of its fur. As I said before, please brush your rabbit each day as too much fur in the stomach may cause a blockage.

My bunnies seem to shed all year round, and more heavily at the onset of winter/summer. I try to brush them everyday, especially while they are shedding heavily. I also see a few poops strung together. Normal. I agree with the other – keep the hay and water intake up, and brush more often during heavy molts.
