Has my bunny hurt her leg?

Last night Winnie was out playing as usual.  She plays in my bedroom which is carpeted and she loves that because she gets traction.  She had gotten overly excited and binkied right into the corner of a wall. And I’m telling you, my heart sank to the floor, as she hopped away from the incident, she was only hopping on one leg and then she started to lick it and clean it. So immediately I pick her up and she gives me kisses as usual. I’m feeling around on her hind leg but she wasn’t pulling away or acting unusual about it. I didn’t feel anything unusual. So, I put her down to observe her behavior and she seemed fine! She was back to doing her binkies and hopping all about. She stands on it just fine. Now when she plays I put layers of cloths over the corners of the wall to protect her is she were to run in one again. I’m still a little worried! Should I be? It was only so tragic cause I watched her hop on one foot for a second and it killed me. Since she seemed fine, I thought maybe its like when humans stub their toe and we hop to safety on one leg to check it out HAHA. I really hope that’s the case. Any help?

Yes, it’s a reflex to withdraw the hurt foot at the same time as you put your weight on the other leg(s) so as not to fall over, it’s quite an interesting reflex too, if you’re interested in reflexes =)

Anyway, since she’s not showing any signs of pain and she puts equal weight on all four feet etc, I don’t think there’s any need for worry. It’s very clever of you to protect the corners with soft stuff!
