Maybe a few of you guys saw my thread in the introduction forum, but if you didn’t know, I got two baby bunnies on the fourth! They’re Holland Lops, and are 6 weeks old. I know that it isn’t recommended to get them at that age, but that’s when they were ready to go to their homes and they’re 100% weaned.

Warning, there are quite a few pictures!

        So here’s Oakley.

Andddd here’s Quincy (being the cutest bunloaf ever)!

Now Oakley’s turn to be the loaf!

Here Quincy is again, scoping things out

Here they are, snuggling in their hidey-house on the first night.

Lastly, here they are chilling on the ride home.

So, yeah, they’re doing great! Very inquisitive little buns, still somewhat skittish but who can blame them! They already wait at the door of their cage, begging to be let out so they can play. Currently I’m sitting with them in their fenced-in play while they binky, romp around, and nudge my feet. Oh, and poop. There’s LOTS of pooping going on . They especially love the crinkly cat tunnel I’ve laid out and Quincy is already enjoying being pet.

I can definitely tell this is the start of a long friendship.

They’re precious! Baby bunnies are sweet. And then they hit puberty!!! Lol Glad they are settling in.

Thanks everyone!! They are both doing great. They’re warming up to me gradually – Quincy LOVES to be pet and Oakley will tolerate a few strokes while he’s snacking. Also, I recently discovered that they go bananas for banana chips (which I feed very sparingly)!
