Hello! My Bun is only 2 months old at the moment. I plan on getting her spayed when she is 6 months old.  That is not until march and I am already so nervous!  They are so fragile and petite I am scared something will go wrong :/. My Bun and I are very close, I got her about a month ago and she is the sweetest thing in this world. Most bunnies dont like to cuddle, but my bun has no problem me picking her up and cuddling her. She nudges her little head in my neck and gives me kisses. I know spaying your bun can help an angrier rabbit calm its hormones and it may be a little nicer. I am a little worried it will turn my sweet bun into a mean one. Could that even happen?  I would hate to see my sweet bun turn into an angrier due to hormones after her spay. Any one know anything about that?

          Your bun sounds adorable.

I wouldn’t worry about your bun’s personality changing after her spay. Most bunnies tend to get less cuddly as they become teenagers and then adults. Hormones can sometimes make your bun a little crazy around the teenager stage.

Spaying your bun will not make her mean. I’ve had 2 buns spayed and noticed no change whatsoever in their personality. It’s the responsible thing to do to give your bun the change at a long and healthy life.
