        Hello all

So I got my rabbit neutered the other day.  Prior to his sexual awakening, he was quite well trained and never went to the toilet anywhere but his boxes.  Then that changed.

I was wondering if I can expect him to be better about this now that he is neutered.  It just happened yesterday, how long until this change kicks in?

You can expect it to get better in 2-4 weeks. For some “stubborn” buns it can take up to 8 weeks, but that’s rare.

Meanwhile, your bunny might get worse toilet-wise. He might also display other types of hormonally driven behaviors like aggression and humping. This is called a “post-neuter craze”. It subsides as the testosterone level drops “for good”. It doesn’t happen with all bunnies, but if you notice it in your bun, don’t worry, it’s perfectly normal.
