My house rabbit Wallace is 7 yrs old and neutered. Hes litter trained and has always been a model pet until 6 weeks ago. Now he keeps pooping in my bedroom and leaving big wet droppings when he sees me 1st thing in the morning. It started immediately after my boyfriend came back from a weeks holiday. They’ve always got on well but since he came back from holiday the pair are inseparable. Nothing else has changed. Food, environment, health and temperament all the same. The week alone together was uneventful. But now Wallace barely looks at me now and the only time he comes to see me is to leave his markings. He used to spend most of his time in my room with no accidents. I’ve tried all I can think of. Banishing him from the room, shutting him away ignoring him, extra litter trays, rewards when good; I’ve even tried scent deterrent but nothing works, it’s only me this behaviour happens with. If he doesn’t see me he’s clean. Any advice much appreciated.

Can you describe the big wet droppings more? This sounds like a health change-maybe you can bring in a sample of the big wet droppings for Wallace to have a vet exam.

I would have him checked because the timing could just be a coincidence.
