Hi everyone, new to the forums.

I have a very young mini-lop house rabbit named Bonnie. She’s gorgeous and brilliant to have.

Over the last few days her droppings have gone so yellow, that they now almost camouflage with the sawdust in her cage.

She recently had a gurgling tummy, but had no loss of appetite and still eats lots of hay and drinks lots which is great news according to the vet. Shes still active a lot too. The vet gave us a fibre (Fibreplex) paste to try help the tummy so that may be the cause im thinking.

Has anyone else had any past experience of this or know anywhere i could get any more information.

Hope to hear from you guys soon

        Foggy

Yellow poop? Can you post a picture?

That’s a probiotic. I’ve never heard of probiotics causing yellow poop.

It does sound odd, yellow poop. You could call your vet and ask, maybe they know if the Fibreplex can cause yellow poop. It has a probiotic as LBJ says, as well as extra fiber and my vet sells it too, but I’ve never had to use it.

Are the poops firm and round like normal bunny poop or are they sticky and poorly formed?
