Hi there.  I just got a new two story cage and it doesnt have a bottom so I am going to be putting plywood on the bottom and I wanted to put some carpet on the bottom so its not just wood.  What is the best stuff that I can use thats safe?   I dont want her eating the carpet if its bad for her.  I was thinking of using the green fake grass carpet for the bottom since she will like that on her feet instead of wire mesh.  Any input would help thank you

I use vet beds for my bunnies. It’s basically thick sherpa fleece with anti-slide under. It’s easy to wash and the buns seem to like lounging on it. Pee runs through it though so you need something underneath it if she still has accidents.

Ragrugs provide good traction but may inspire digging and chewing, possibly eating.

The pic is my Yohio on his vet bed.

I think you need to google vet bed. You may be able to get it online. It’s very often used for dogs and in dog-crates, so if you can find a web-site that sells dog stuff they might carry it. It’s soft and nice for the delicate bunny feet.

Off subject! Yohio is freaking adorable! I love his color and the extra brown nose area!
