LongEaredLions had a thread going about diy toys. You can type in Toyturials into the search to find it. There were tons of awesome stuff in it.
Other than that I have taken a cardboard box and cut holes in it to make a forage toy and a large paper bog/box and filled it with shredded paper (Warning, messy toy
)
