Ava had her follow up check up on Wednesday. She’s lost about half a pound and is now a healthy weight. Her ear mites are officially gone, no sign of them whatsoever. It only took an ivermectin shot and three doses of revolution. The vet said it was the worst case of ear mites he’s seen. Just shining a light into her ear, he could see them crawling around. If her bloodwork comes back normal, then we can proceed with getting her spayed.  I’m still really nervous about Ava’s spay. Ragnar died during her spay, I don’t think I could handle going through that again.

I’m so glad she’s rid of the ear-mites! It sounds so gross, poor little girl, she must be so happy!
I can understand how worried you must be seeing what you wen’t through with Ragnar. Many many safe spaying-vibes for (((((Ava)))))
