My bun has good litter training… except when he has run time through the house. He pees and sometimes leaves a few pills in the litterboxes around the house, but every step he hops he just leaves a pill behind him! My parents have been threatening to give him away if I don’t figure out a solution, but I really don’t know what to do! He isn’t neutered yet, we have an appointment in two weeks to get that done, so could that be the problem? They suggested getting him a diaper but I can’t possibly imagine that’s comfortable or sanitary for him. Is there any way to get him to stop pooping all over the house?

Sounds like territorial marking. Neutering should help. Just keep in mind that his hormones might go a bit crazy after the surgery (which is completely normal). They will level out within 4 weeks though, and litter habits should go back to normal.

            I sure hope so! Thanks!

I’ve read of folks diapering their bunnies for free time. I’d hold off on that and see how he is 4 weeks after the surgery.
