We didn’t intend on this being the case. But our 10 week old bunny has become Semi litter trained in the way that he doesn’t Wee/Poop when out of his hutch, but any corner of his hutch seems to be fair game (including the litter tray in there)

So we tend to be happy that every day when we check the litter tray and he’s gone in there. But it defeats the object when he’s going in the other corners of the hutch also right?

How would we stop this habit? (BTW one popular choice of said corners is just where the door for his hutch is, so it’s not easy to block it off)

It’s not always easy to litter train a rabbit before it has been spayed or neutered, so you might not have complete success with that until he has had his surgery. He probably sees the whole hutch as his territory and thinks it’s fine to go to the bathroom anywhere in his territory, plus he could be marking his territory since he isn’t fixed.
