So, I have bought the bunny from the neighbor. They were going to let it go in the wild. Poor baby. She has already started bonding with Mr. Bun-bun. I have named her floppsie. With reason. She flops every time she thinks I am coming towards her. Lol. So cute. So the problem is even though my bun loves her, he gets very upset when I pet her or when she comes up to me. I had them both on my lap and they were fine. However, when floppsie put her paws on my chest to kiss my face, Mr. Bun-bun became phsyco! He lunged and growled at her. So here is my question, will tgis behavior stop once he has been neutered? When they are alone they are fune, but he cannot stand her when they are both with me. I don’t wantto separate them aa they are so cute together and get along famously. Please help any ideas are appreciated.

Is she spayed? They shouldn’t be together if nobody is spayed/neutered. His behavior sounds territorial to me. Territorial of her, I mean.

She is spayed. He will be neutered next month. Belive me i would not put them together if she weren’t. No babies!!! Lol. I have already had problems with him due to his being so possive. It’s cute but way too much. He is fine with her when I am around as long as I do not try to pet her. If she is sitting on my lap he is ok. But if either she or I try to be affectionate he gets really upset. I am hoping that with getting him neutered he will calm down.

He has already growled and lunged at her. She takes everything in stride. She is a very calm and chill bun. I am hoping it is just hormones talking. He seems to think that I am his “love bunny” and does not like it when my husband touches me. I just don’t want him going after her.
