  Hi!
  I could possibly be getting a 6 year old rex rabbit, and i just need some tips. Ive had rabbits before, but only females, and this one is male. If he isnt nutered, is he to old to be nutered now? Also, should i feed a diffrent food to him than a younger bunny? Any tips would be appreciated!

  A single boy bunny with no behavioral issues doesn’t have to be neutered for health-reasons. Girl bunnies should always be neutered because of the risk for uterine cancers, boys are neutered if they are to live with other bubnnies and/or to stop or prevent sexually driven issues like spraying, pee-and poop-marking, circling and nipping in relentless courtship, constant humping etc.
  
  Adult bunnies should get “lean” food, not too much protein. That’s the main difference between the dietary requirements of a growning youngster and and adult. Lots of grassy hay is important, as it is for all bunnies, but no alfalfa hay for adults. For pellets, choose a variety for adult bunnies. If the bunny hasn’t had greens before, introduce them very slowly. All new food should be introduced slowly to a bunny.
