This is just a fun thread to vent about multi-bunny mischief… either together or separately.

So there’s been lots of activity and mischief since the move.

One of the biggest changes lately is the fact that we’re expecting in April.   I’m pretty sure Duncan has noticed my hormone shift and has been acting out more but also being much more affectionate and sniffing my belly and giving kisses…  Tilly could care less about my hormone shifts, but cares more about the fact that her daddy has had several business trips where he’s not home to pamper her before bed.  The results?  Bunny mischief.

        Tonight’s Tilly Tantrum

Tilly and Duncan spend most of their day in their room, but the door is open for them to come down and spend time with me and Zoey.  They’ll come down, bounce around, hop up on the couch, etc… Tonight Tilly was grumpy because Daddy wasn’t home yet.  She distracted herself by somehow acquiring a AA battery from the tv remote and toting into the middle of the room.  The moment I noticed I fussed at her and took it away… Her response?  Huff, bite one button off the remote deliberately—while making eye contact–and then hop over to the arm of the couch and PEE off the side onto the floor!

I would like to note that she has had perfect pee-box habits for some time except for one incident where she peed on the wii-board, but that was our fault for leaving something with the same texture as the bottom of her box out in the middle of the floor… This was a tantrum.  What did Duncan do when he saw that Tilly was getting in trouble?  In true gentlemanly fashion he high-tailed it to his bedroom. lol

Congrats Cottontail! Are we going to have a baby naming thread?

Moxie hasn’t done anything too naughty lately, although she did chew up my science test…

Congratulations to you and your hubby, CT! How has the pregnancy been so far?

I would like to note that she has had perfect pee-box habits for some time except for one incident where she peed on the wii-board,

Had to laugh at that. She did a wee on the wii? Smart bun!

Thank you, Moxie and Jersey. ^_^ So far the pregnancy has had lots of nausea (finally going away) and allergies; but the baby is healthy so far so we’re happy. This is our first pregnancy and we’re trying to be careful, but there’s just so much to do between getting ready and trying to find homes for bunnies at the same time! One of 3 fosters is finally with his new forever home, but the other two are still looking… They are finally getting some support from the local HRS, now that they’re spayed/neutered; so that’s good at least. We’re still doing a lot of the pushing and advertising for them though, and they’ll probably be changing foster homes again soon, and coming to us personally as fosters for the HRS.

Moxie- she just doesn’t approve of homework, huh?
Jersey- it was pretty appropriate, wasn’t it? Luckily it was just the once; now we keep it leaned up against the entertainment center and not flat when not in use.

Yay CT! That’s awesome news! I’m excited for you guys.

We wind up with lots of multi bun mischief. With Bruno and Harley, its dismantling their cage. Bruno is the brute and Harley is small, so he can squeeze through any gap. With Butternut and Backers, since she is so big, she can get places he can’t. So she pulls stuff down for him to destroy. Annie and Potus were adventure buns. Every time we would open the kitchen gate, they would sneak out and go exploring together.

Sometimes I think single buns are easier lol!

So happy news, CT! I sincerely hope we’ll have a baby naming thread =) So excited for you!!

Tilly is absolutely showing off he noble descent by being a royal…no, a Duchess de Marbourg. She won’t let a simple human tell her what to do and not to do! I’m glad her husbun has the sense not to meddle. You don’t mess with a Duchess =)

Trying to be subtle, eh CT? Well we’re having a BIG baby naming thread whether you like it or not! LOL Congrats BTW. I saw it on fb, but I think I just liked the post.

Leopold is always making Wooly think that certain things are “good ideas”. He’s always the leader in these things and when Wooly sees him doing something, he decides to join in. Nothing too unusual recently. They both just decided to pull at the carpet in random places though. =\

^_^ Thanks for the congratulations, everyone. We’ve got almost 6 months to figure out a baby name so we’ve got plenty of time for that!

Tilly and Duncan have been running amok upstairs this morning. Turned the box of hay upside down on the carpet, checked out Zoey’s food bowl (luckily she had finished her breakfast already), tried to dig their way into my bedroom… Duncan decided the best thing to do with the stack of grids I have to build condos with is to climb on top of the stack and try to get your foot stuck… and when that got boring I had to remind him that the broom doesn’t deserve to die. He seems to seek it out, just to beat it up and try to knock it over. I heard some more playful running around upstairs a little earlier and looked over to see them coming carefully down the stairs…. First Tilly, followed by Zoey, followed by Duncan. They got this look on their faces like, “Oh no, we’ve been caught!” and then went about their own business… not quite sure what was going through their heads…

CT, the broom DOES deserve to die, Yohio can tell you that. He gets into fights with the broom on a daily basis. They only fight when I’m not in the room so I don’t know who starts it, the broom or the rabbit. But the rabbit always wins =)

Harley will also testify that brooms are evil. When I sweep their cage, he comes charging at it, all teeth and claws. It’s rather amusing watching this small bunny get so angry…..at a broom.

Moxie doesn’t really care either way for the broom.
