So I am a bun mom for a little less than a year so I have no priors to go on but is it normal for my mini rex girl Lloyd to want to be up high???? I mean like she looks for places to be… some of her favorites are… The dining room chair where she sleeps like a cat, the side tables next to the sofa, the windowsill, and the sofa table. She also binkies SUPER high for only being 4 lbs! I never see her burrow like Ninja who acts “like a rabbit” my girl reminds us more of a cat.. is this odd? Thanks everyone and I am so glad I have found this forum!!!!

I think it’s normal as they all have their own personalities, each of them is different. Some prefer chairs, some don’t. My bun reminds me of cat sometimes when he is chasing me as I walk around the flat He sometimes run long distance and in the end he jumps on my BF’s legs, pushes himself off them and jumps elsewhere…. we go ”shall rabbit do this”? Also, when someone comes in, he runs to the door like a dog abnd inviting people ;D They do what they want….

Aw! So sweet! Yeah, that is normal! If she’s comfy up high, then that’s fine, as long as she can safely get up and down! She probably wants to be able to survey all she owns as queen of the house! LOL!

My bunnies frequently lay or play on the top of the couch, the coffee table and Josephine loves the kitchen chairs. If they could get to the windowsill I’m sure they would.

I literally laughed so hard I cried- we call her Queen Bee for short and she really does sit there like a little Diva!!!! Especially on the side table! I will post a pic as soon as I can find it!

I love hearing all these stories and it is so funny that yesterday I walked in the family room and there was Ninja on the sofa….. I figured my son put him there but no he had jumped up on his own….something he’s never done. So I guess Miss Lloyd is starting to teach him all of her naughty habits lol

Oh haha they are so cute !!! Do they jumped there from window? By Pippin only got once on table and he had to go down immediately so he knows it’s ”non bunny” place haha

My bun always sleep on sofa cause he sees us lay down on it. Because we got new recliners, he is only allowed on one which has his duvet on (duvet he can nibble in worst scenario) …. so sometimes we are talking or having a quick snack and he’s just having a nap lol
