I’ve used those web pages myself, along with Dana Krempel’s articles on bunny diets. 3 months seems to be a good average age to start introducing tiny amounts of veggies. Before I fixed my bunnies, they had 4 litters combined. I started giving them fresh grass once they were old enough to crawl out of the nest box, but they eat grass in the wild anyway. I gave them veggies (compared with grass – veggies would really be called salad greens) when they were 2 months, but they were already used to eating grass. The common age appears to be 3 months, and only try small amounts at a time, Like a tablespoon of shredded greens a day, slowly building up. A 6-month old bunny should be able to eat the cup of greens per pound of body weight.
