So they are doing fabulous. We seperated them until a week and a half ago, it they took to eachother flawlessly now that her hormones have calmed. Snuggles, licks, snuggles, and licks. They eat together, play together, snuggle, and Speckles even gets Chom to run around a bit. Which is really good cause he is just really lazy normally.

At night, they both come up to the bed and sleep with us. Chom will stay for hours, and Speckles only for a few minutes though. They are inseparable.

Chom loves attention from his humans still, and has stopped ignoring us. Speckles now will not come near us, unless food is involved, and refuses to allow us to pet her unless Chom is beside her. Which does make us a bit sad, especially my boyfriend since before Chom came home, Speckles was definitely his rabbit, and she used to frequently bestow her attentions solely upon him.

So anyway no issues. Chom will try to mount her sexually on a rare occasion, and Speckles will deal with it, or if he can’t get a good grip and plucks at her fur a bit too much, then she will wriggle away and flee, and hide on our bed, underneath the blankets. If she flees, Chom won’t try again for a few days.

That sounds fabulous. I’m so glad it is working out. Give speckles some time. She will warm up to you again. Bunnies don’t just stop loving their humans. She is processing the last few weeks in her bunny mind. She’ll come around.
