Any tips for finding rabbit-friendly apartments?

We’re looking in Fort Collins, CO. Seems difficult to find any information without calling every apartment to ask, and just about everywhere doesn’t allow rabbits.

Really? Most places where I live don’t consider rabbits to be “pets” (because they think they are caged, little do they know…….). Many years ago, when my husband and I lived in an apartment, they only counted dogs and cats as pets (which required a deposit). They didn’t care about small animals, birds or fish.

That’s lucky! I was hoping for that type of policy as well, but for some reason rabbits and ferrets are often an absolute “NO” here. They’ll accept guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. but not rabbits. Doesn’t make much sense to me given that many rabbits are litter trained and much cleaner than dogs and cats; must have something to do with chewing on stuff, though for all they know he stays caged.
