I have 2 outdoor mini lop does. tonight there was a big storm and they dont like storms so i brought them inside. its late and i decided i would like to have them sleep in here with me. they dont have accidents, and get along well. i put a box in here with hay, food, and water in it. i have a low bed that they can jump up onto whenever they like, so they would be free to just run around or come up on the bed with me. I dont move around in my sleep too much so i dont think id crush them or anything. also, i doubt they would even come up onto the bed. they’d probably just hop around my room happily until they fell asleep. my question is, is it OKAY to let them sleep in my room with me?

oh yea i forgot to mention, i already bunny proofed the whole room. no electrical cords or anything harmful. the bed is low enough that the bunnies can easily jump down without getting hurt.

My rabbit sleeps in my bedroom with me but she can’t get up on my bed. So if the room is bunny proof then that’s ok.

Rabbits don’t sleep like us though so they would be up and down all night. They may keep waking u up, so your sleep might not go so well.
Also the main reason I don’t want my rabbit on the bed (as cute as it sounds) is because they are likely to dig and pull at the blankets and pillow and I worry about them ingesting foam or other materials.

I know some people do it, but I wouldn’t with Porky. Porky likes to groom me and that sometimes includes chewing my hair and clothing.

My bunny Yohio sleeps in my bedroom, on my bed (foot end) or under it. He wakes me early in the mornings though, but he isn’t active during the night – probably because he has adjusted to me. Two rabbits may of course think it’s a lovely idea to play in the middle of the night.

Both Chom and Speckles sleep with me and my boyfriend. Speckles likes to sleep on our feet or between our legs, and Chom loves to be pressed against my chest with his head nuzzled under mine.

Pretty much every night we spend like this.

My bun is always super active at night.
Running around me, hopping on and off the bed and on again, jumping from his hideyhouse to the bed and binkying next to me is just his routine i guess.

I’m like bam with my bunny – he has adjusted to me and he never wakes or bothers me anymore. It took a while…. I have woken up with my tissue box blown up! my jammies chewed and a fringe that stood up like a Cockatoo after he ate a huge chunk! NOT pretty! The hubby and I even had arguments over who was going to get up to sshhh him at 4am, he’s a bit of a party pig and I wouldn’t mind if I could join in, but if I do party I am normally getting into bed at 4am NOT waking up! Dam bunny!
My Henry has always been free roam and just like a baby/child that you love, you work it out…. eventually, ha ha!
