Armadillo, my stray rabbit I caught outside in a garbage dump last week is really attached to me. And every time I go see him he comes up and climbs on me. But he seems really bored when I’m not home and I dont have enough financially to take in another bun. Do you guys have any ideas I should use to keep him entertained while I’m at school? I’ve made a strong bond between us and he really loves it when I give him attention but I have school work to do as well. Any suggestions? It would help lots!
        Thanks!

Most bunnies rest during the day. They are crepuscular, meaning they’re active mornings and evenings. So that he doesn’t do a lot during your school-day is normal for a bunny.
To keep him entertained you should give him stuff to gnaw, preferably Apple or willow twigs, pesticide free. And a cardboard house that you’ve cut openings in, many bunnies like to remodel cardboard boxes. He should have a fleece blankie to dig in because digging is a need rabbits have.
It would also be nice for him if he could be in your room when you do your homework. You don’t have to activate him or play, he’ll be happy just to be around you.

He ran out the garage and hid today. I managed to catch him and hes been trying to get out ever since. I’m not gonna let him outside anymore since he’ll just run away again. I’m thinking of getting him a harness and see how he likes it. Since its much safer to take him outside with it, and dont worry I won’t tug him around. I usually do my homework in the garage with him.

I’m always so envious of people who can let their bunnies loose in their gardens, if I tried that with Bam and Yohio I don’t think I’d ever see them again
That’s very sweet of you to do your homework in the garage with him! Company is in my opinion extremely important for bunnies, they are very social and like to hang out with their humans doing nothing much.
