Our bunny has a runny nose some days but she has it wet almost every single day. Her nose dries very fast thought. She doesn’t have and has never had a crusty nose. Sometimes you can hear a small faint whistle from her nose. She lays down and starts breathing really fast sometimes and when she does she starts to shake. It’s also really hot where we live. It’s has lately been about 85 degrees every single day. We still put ice bottles next to her when we see her do this. We recently had a bunny in the house that had snuffles and our bunny came into contact with her. The bunny with the snuffles left and we washed everything and we waited for signs of snuffles in our bunny, but she only sneezed twice 3 times in a row and never sneezed again and nothing else happened. She still eats very very well and uses the bathroom. Before she even came in contact with the bunny with snuffles and since we got her, she has always had a wet nose that has never gotten crusty. Her urine has also been looking milky white for about 2 months now. We don’t know if the runny/wet nose, fast breathing and shaking are normal? Also I know that the urine is cause of too much calcium, but how long should her urine be like this for?

Milky urine is as you say caused by excess calcium being excreted in the urine. This is as it should be with bunnies, most mammals excrete excess calcium via the feces, but bunnies do it via the urine. It’s not really a sign that sth is wrong, unless the urine is thick and pasty, like beige/gray fine wet concrete. You can adjust her diet some if you’re worried. Alfalfa and clover are high in calcium and should only be fed as occasional treats to adult bunnies. Grass is low in calcium. Here’s a short article on calcium and bunnies: http://www.rabbit.org/journal/3-5/calcium.html

There is a current thread now where our member Vanessa has listed vegs that are fine calcium-ways, you might want to check that out: https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/140367/Default.aspx

That she’s breathing fast and shaking sounds heat-related to me. Iced water-bottles are great for that. The wet nose may be from the heat too, if she’s breathing heavily through her nose.

My Bam has a wet nose now and then, but it may of course be from dipping it into his water-bowl when he drinks.
