Ok so I don’t know if I am crazy or if this is even coming from lux but here goes. First of all I am potty training her so whenever she poops I put the poop in her litter box and every night seems less and less and every time I’m cleaning up she runs to me and puts he head between my fingers and wants me to rub and pet her and she will follow me all around wanting me to do it. Today I came home on lunch break from work and found she knocked a lot of pellets out of her dish and peed all over them so it made a gross patch in her cage thank god for the pee pad that was down. But as I was trying to fix it she kept trying to put her head under my hand silly little girl. So then I would move her and I heard squeaking noises or some weird noise from her. Now it could’ve been her claws against the plastic cage or the pee pad but she did it 3 or 4 times. Could that be a happy noise? She adores me but bites my fiancé more. I want we to love her as well.

It sounds like a squeaky snort and it isnt good. You could say its a growl , my bun does it all the time if she doesnt like what im doing or if she doesnt get her way. Sassy buns.

My buns make various sounds. Guin snorts and grunts when she doesn’t approve of what I just did. Lancelot squeaks when he is stressed by Guin. I pet him and he relaxes and stops squeaking. But he does have a squeaky/wheezy sleepy sound. Like a squeeky rabbit snore. Similar to how my cat snores. When he wakes up, he sounds normal again. Vet has confirmed 3 times that his lungs are good. He makes soft muffled squeaks when he eats his favorite food. (Not from dental pain). He buzzes when he is happy to see me. One of my buns squeaked every breath in pain from E.Cuniculi. Lancelot also has a number of contented squeaks he makes while sitting up like a kangaroo and grooming himself. Bunny sounds are really neat.
It does sound like she was disaproving of what you were doing. Like Reem says, buns are definitely sassy. They don’t appreciate us humans rearranging their carefully placed mess 🙂

Rabbits may become angry if you don’t pet them when they want you to pet them, or if you stop petting them before they’ve decided petting-time is over. They may growl or nip. I have one growler and one nipper.

Its probably because you were moving her away and she wanted snuggles so she growled cause she didnt get her way .

I frequently get the growl and front foot stomp from Sumi then she realises what I am doing and it’s “Oh, food, well, get on with it.. (grunt stomp) and don’t mess with my stuff. Just leave the food and piffle off”
