Hi everyone. I just got back from a short vacation and just noticed that there is white gunk on my buns left eye… It looks like an eye booger like i can just remove it with my hand or something rather than it being part of the eyeball.

Okay so as I was taking this picture, the white gunk moved to where it shows on the picture. It was on the most lower area where her eyelid is at. Is it just an eyebooger or what?

If it moves and it’s like gunk and not attached to the eye, it’s likely an eye-booger. But you should check her eye these next few days for redness and more gunk/ discharge to make sure it’s not an eye infection.

You can use the same kind of saline eye wash that humans use to “wash” bunny eyes.

How do I apply the saline eye wash to her eye? Do I just squirt her eye when she least expects it (while eating)?

I prefer to sit my bunny in my lap, wrapped in a towel or blankie and then squirt the eyewash onto the eye, in like 2-3 squirts. If you squirt it in her eyes when she’s eating it might work, but you risk missing the target and I bet she won’t give you a second chance.
