I’ve just collected my bunny from her spay. The vet nurse told me that she has what appears to be a lump of fluid above her wound and they don’t know why but they think that it could’ve gotten trapped there during the operation :/ they’ve insisted that they see her first thing tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know what this is? Is it life threatening? I feel like they should never have let her come home.

        Thank you for your help

Did the vet check her again before she went home? How does your rabbit seem?
From what I can find, it sometimes happens as reaction to the material used for the stitches. Its definitely fluid?
Im glad to hear they’ll be checking her again tomorrow.
