So a few weeks ago I was at the dollar store, just browsing around. A box of cat litter box liners caught my eye. And I figured, for one buck, I might as well give it a shot. It’s a 10 pack of… they’re essentially rectangle trash bags. I started using it right away, I placed it on the litter box that’s outside of his cage. And I will be honest with you, I was worried that he may try to eat the plastic bag.

For the first week of having the litter box liner on the cage, he did take a couple of bites out of it, around 4 or 5. Then the second week decreased to 2 or 3. The third week, nothing. And the fourth week nothing.

I LOVE THE LINERS. They’re so easy to clean. Literally all I do is take the liner out of the litter box, put the liner in a plastic bag and throw it out. It’s so easy. I don’t even have to scrub the litter box anymore. No more mess. And it’s only a dollar.

I wanted to suggest this to you guys. Though if your bunny is a big time chewer, I wouldn’t risk it. Like I’m not going to put a liner on the litter box that’s in his cage because I know for sure if he gets bored he’ll start to eat it/chew it. But I think everyone should give this a shot.
