Bunny having off days?

Hi.

This morning when I went to check on Bugs she seemed to be doing fine acting the same, I changed the litter and returned a few hours later. When I came back she seemed off? Usually when I come visit her she stands up on her pen and is hopping around and now it’s like she doesn’t seem to acknowledge me and is just sitting around. She’s pooping,peeing, and eating but she just seems off. I brought out a bag of treats that she always gets excited for and she did seem to get excited. She’s been sitting in her litter box for a while eating hay on and off. Any ideas? I’m concerned.

My own little buns do have their off days where they seem more lethargic, but usually get back to normal within a day or so. When you came back, was it a time you normally come and visit her? Might have been a sleepy time for her. If you are concerned, then keep an eye on Bugs but hopefully she is just going through a case of the sleeps or the grumps

Thanks, Bugs seems to be doing fine now. I usually visit random times throughout the day so it might have been nap time for her. I’m keeping an eye on her and plan to schedule a vet check up soon since I been meaning to anyway

Could she be hot? Not sure where you are but it’s been ridiculously hot here. It would make sense for your bun to be more lazy and and less enthusiastic if she’s hot.
