My bunny has been sneezing a lot lately and we are concerned it might be pasturella. My last rabbit died after a 5 year long battle with it. I’m probably just gun shy and its just allergies. But in case it is something more I’d like to give him some kind of supplement to boost his immune system if that’s possible. I’ve heard about benebac but is that only a gi supplement? And I know vitamin C works for humans.
        Anyone ever try these?
        Any other ideas?

BeneBac is good to use when a rabbit is on antibiotics, to keep its GI tract in balance, but I don’t think that it would be useful in boosting a rabbit’s immume system. I don’t think that vitamin C would help either. Rabbits don’t need extra vitamin c, they get enough in the foods that they eat.

Oxbow does have an immune supplement in their Natural Science line. I have no idea if it works or not. The thinking on most of these supplements is that they are a nice treat for rabbits, and maybe they do have some benefits, but there is no definitive answer about that.

George and Gracie used to be on booster concentrate which my vet prescribed.

Gracie is still on it I had to take George off after his Ulcer. I give it to Gracie via a raisin.

You can also try drops echinacea (avoid tinctures with acohol). The enchinacea benefits are questionable. Some studies show that it helps some studies show that it does not.

But always check with your vet before adding anything.
