I will neuter him soon so don’t worry. My rabbit is unneutered and he has never, ever, sprayed pee or anything his whole life. He has almost perfect litter training but there sometimes is a few poops out of the litterbox. He has no aggression problems towards humans. The only problem he has is minor mounting. I want to get him a friend in a few months after he is neutered so yeah. Is this normal for unneutered male rabbits to never spray, have almost perfect litter training, and no human aggression?

There are a few individuals that are pretty mellow and don’t exhibit many of the typical hormonal behaviors. Eeepter’s bunny Porky is a good example. It isn’t unusual, but I wouldn’t say it’s common.

Yeah, Porky never sprays and is very mellow. He doesn’t even mount us, only his stuffed animals. At home he is totally perfect with litter training. The only time we’ve ever had issues with his marking territory, was when he stayed in the guest room at my dad’s house. And even then it was just peeing very musky lines around the edge of his pen and leaving stinky poo pile here and there. He stopped after we changed the plastic mat he was on out for a play rug. We’re back home and he’s back to perfect. Only stray poos are ones that bounce out of the litter box when he hops out of it.

My previous unneutered male (20+ years ago) also never sprayed, wasn’t aggressive and didn’t hump. He wasn’t litter trained though, but we never tried so maybe he could have been.

I seem to be oddly lucky on this.

Mine is very well behaved too. He leaves poops around his cage, but never anywhere else , and NEVER wees outside of his box. He isn’t aggressive, and he occasionally mounts feet, but never anything else. He’ll be a year old next month.
